After working with every size business over the past 20 years - from global brands to local, family-run businesses, I've seen it all...all the distraction landmines that "marketing gurus" and even well-meaning friends put in your path.

Quick story, my boys LOVE rock climbing and one day (pre-COVID) we were at the climbing gym and I was taking a water break with my 5 year old. He saw one climber just standing, starting at the wall, and asked me, "Mama - why doesn't she go? What's she waiting for?"
I explained that she was stepping back so that she could map out her climb, her best approach to reach the top. She had to step back to see the whole route, the whole picture, and she couldn't do that if she was too close to the wall or trying to figure it out while climbing.
It struck me that this is exactly the problem that so many business owners are making; not just newbies, but EXPERTS in their fields, smart highly experienced business women from ALL types of industries - trying to figure out their best plan of action mid-climb, without the big picture perspective.
🤔 The big mistake? Wasting time on the wrong steps in the wrong order. It's not your fault if you feel frustrated and overwhelmed. The online space is crammed full of "just do this" and "you should be doing that"... with curated feeds to make you feel like you're so far behind everyone else in your space.
You aren't.
But there's so much pressure and conflicting information. There IS a better way - which is why my motto is "No Frills - Focused Action".
